I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public..

Yesterday was a big day for Tom Wood, and it was kind of a big deal for me as well. It's not everyday I'm on display in an art gallery! The launch party was a huge success with a lot of friendly faces; not to mention the cool art work by Remi Juliebø aka Painbucket. I wouldn't mind having some of them at home, that's for sure. If you're in Oslo, be sure to stop by Gallery TM51 by Olaf Ryes Plass and check out the pictures of me. And of course; the Tom Wood pop-up store.

PS. Be sure to take notice of the (incredible annoying) photobombing cat in the tree behind me. There I am, trying to look all kinds of chic and tough and rock n' roll - but that's kind of hard with her lurking in the background.

A great hat speaks for itself, but a great ring can start a whole conversation.

The snow is almost completely gone now, and I'm feeling a thousand pounds lighter. The rain is pouring down outside, but I don't care. It only means that spring finally has arrived, and I'm inside I'm dancing. This is, and will always be, my favorite time of the year. Something inside me is awakened, and in the words of Christel Alsos; I feel like I can conquer the world. It's a fresh start. Clean slates. Almost as clean as these rings.

I just can't tell you how much I adore Tom Wood! It's like magic. You might think I'm partial since I'm in the lookbook; but I loved them even before I was cast in the role as Tom Woods girl. It was love at first sight. They are feminine, masculine and minimalistic; all at the same time - and I think they are quite perfect.

I also have some exciting news to share with you guys, but I can't reveal them just yet. Let's just say it involves a lot of different personalities..

A thin grey fog hung over the city, and the streets were very cold; for spring had come to Norway.

Yesterday I ignored my negative attitude towards life in general, put on a stylish one instead - and went on a old school fashion shoot with the creative photographer Erica Zahl and My Cup of Tea Vintage. I kept my hair and make-up from the last look of the day so that I could give you guys a glimpse into the handy-work of make-up artist Karoline Edquist -she really worked wonders on my troubled skin and my frizzy hair! I wanted to be comfortable in between sets, so I just put on my favorite blouse, a maxi-skirt - and I was ready to go.

Right now I'm so tired I could eat an elephant.. I actually just got out of bed and it's almost 3 PM! Oh, well - I deserve to spend some extra time underneath the covers. If you want to see some behind the scenes photos from yesterdays shoot and other stuff, check out my Instagram!

Wait, what? Are you wearing real fur!?

Fooled you, didn't I? Sporting this fabulous black and tan Chihuahua from circa 2009, which really compliments my vintage wool skirt and hand-me-down coat from my very fashionable Grandma. I've layered myself into a big pile of fabric, but that's simply to withstand the freezing temperatures of a tragic Oslonioan spring. Rumor has it; it's going to start snowing again this week - so I'll be under the covers in my bedroom if you need me.

Is it the giant shades? The tight leggings? Or the crazy heels? Probably all of the above.

I'm combining ultra new with borderline vintage today, and may be channeling Victoria Beckham for some reason as well. (Hence the title) I got a gorgeous new pair of sunglasses from Marc Jacobs and what must be the perfect trench coat via Vero Moda. I even used a lip pencil thingy to get my lipstick just right, which I've never done correctly before. Thank you, Ebay!

These translucent sunglasses were a gift from Krogh Optikk; a little thank you for coming to the launch party of the magazine Style Mag. They are sick! The event itself was quite beautiful. It's kind of a funny story, actually. You already know that I'm an incredible shy person, so for me to go somewhere and actually meet people is quite unusual itself. Almost something worth celebrating - which is why I had a glass or two of Champagne at 9 in the morning. Anyways, when I opened the magazine, I found out I was sorta featured in it. Via that Tom Wood shoot I did earlier this year, that is. I'm so thankful I discovered it AFTER I got home, because I barely survived the two hours battling my already existing social awkwardness. I get so self conscious, for no reason at all - it's not even funny. It's a little bit easier now, though - as I have these giant shades to hide behind. I will most certainly be using and abusing them from here on out. It's going to be a designer cat-fight between my Toms and Marc Jacobs; not to mention my already existing collection of vintage and not-so-vintage sunnies.

Now where is that sun..

Moving pictures | 483

I finally had the time and energy to make a new, shall I say; episode, of my moving pictures. It's about freakin' time, some would say! I can't believe it's been over a year since my previous one! I decided to just smash together the past three months in this little summary, and I hope you like it!

If you want to see the different outfits in their entirety, just click through here: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve and thirteen.

I also just want to thank you for the wonderful feedback on my previous post. I didn't intentionally leave out how much support I both get and feel from you guys; my readers and friends - I just got a little carried away and overly focused on the negativity I experienced over the weekend. So thank you for being here, there and everywhere. And for coming back! You guys truly make my day, every day - and without you - I would just be sitting here, talking to myself. And Inter-ghosts.

Without clothes on, we're all just kind of naked.

I can finally go outside without evaporating into dusty snowflakes from the cold. When the sun is up, that is. I'm not just being dramatic, I promise. It's even better since you guys are leaving me so many beautiful comments. I truly appreciate it! Thank you for that!

I spent this weekend kind of obsessing over equal marriage rights. In the US. And the rest of the world, for that matter. It's not exactly my goal in life to be overly engaged in politics, but the issue is very close to my heart - so I chose to participate. It's times like these that makes me feel so lucky to have the rights I do here in Norway. I'm married to a girl, in case you didn't know that - and it just makes me so incredible sad to know that it's not allowed in some parts of the world. Still. It's 2013, and you're not allowed to marry the person you love.

People decided to unfollow me on various sites this weekend when they realized I was gay. Well, whoop de fucking do! I wasn't aware it was a secret. I've gotten more hateful comments in Instagram than ever before, but I don't feel violated. I'm not angry. I'm relieved and a bit happy, to tell you the truth. If you're that small minded, I don't want you in my life. If you don't support love, the most beautiful thing in the world, I feel bad for you - and I'm happy to see you go. Love isn't a religion - and no religion has the right to claim ownership over love or marriage. Love is feeling that transcends the body, goes beyond borders, genders and sex. It's everything and nothing - it's universal and it's true. You can't soil that with something someone wrote thousands of years ago or with all the filthy words you learned in preschool.

Anyways, I don't have an ending to this post - as the issue in this post has yet to get an ending itself. But fear not, I'm not turning into a crazy gay rights activist blogger. As I said earlier this month: I may wear high heels, own a Chihuahua, read ELLE and eat cupcakes - but I'm not at all who you think I am. A lipstick lesbian is just one of the things.

PS. If you're here to hate, don't bother. Your comments wont make me less gay. xoxo
