Trench coat - Very by Vero Moda (gifted) // Blouse - Gina Tricot // Sunglasses - Marc Jacobs (gift) // Leggings - Cubus // Stud anklets - Random // Shoes - Gina Tricot
I'm combining ultra new with borderline vintage today, and may be channeling Victoria Beckham for some reason as well. (Hence the title) I got a gorgeous new pair of sunglasses from Marc Jacobs and what must be the perfect trench coat via Vero Moda. I even used a lip pencil thingy to get my lipstick just right, which I've never done correctly before. Thank you, Ebay!
These translucent sunglasses were a gift from Krogh Optikk; a little thank you for coming to the launch party of the magazine Style Mag. They are sick! The event itself was quite beautiful. It's kind of a funny story, actually. You already know that I'm an incredible shy person, so for me to go somewhere and actually meet people is quite unusual itself. Almost something worth celebrating - which is why I had a glass or two of Champagne at 9 in the morning. Anyways, when I opened the magazine, I found out I was sorta featured in it. Via that Tom Wood shoot I did earlier this year, that is. I'm so thankful I discovered it AFTER I got home, because I barely survived the two hours battling my already existing social awkwardness. I get so self conscious, for no reason at all - it's not even funny. It's a little bit easier now, though - as I have these giant shades to hide behind. I will most certainly be using and abusing them from here on out. It's going to be a designer cat-fight between my Toms and Marc Jacobs; not to mention my already existing collection of vintage and not-so-vintage sunnies.
Now where is that sun..
I love polka dots, and I love how you've made them look so cool <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I was trying to avoid being too cute with the dots - glad you like it! :D
DeleteAll of the above and more. You look like a movie star. Your lipstick is perfect, your Gina Tricot polka-dot blouse is pretty and you styled everything wonderfully.

Thank you, sweetie! I wasn't sure the polka dots would fit in at first, but it turned out great!
DeleteSo edgy! I'm not familiar with Very by Vero Moda but, after seeing this beautiful ensemble, I'll definitely be checking them out!
ReplyDeleteVero Moda is most definitely worth checking out. Very affordable and stylish clothing, for sure. I've been shopping there since I was given an allowance from my parents, and I'm happy to wear their clothes ;)
