Bobbie’s running naked through the woods again, no one told her this was just a trick

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. A place for reflection and relaxation. Wish I could go back there now, and just stay there for a while.

Say goodbye to the world you thought you lived in

I wanted to share some pictures from my vacation up north, but I don't really know how. It's hard returning to ones normal life after a terrible event like this. I'm trying to get my focus back, I think we all are. I decided to share on of my outfits to start with. The Nokia and ELLE contest is coming to an end and I really need to finish my portfolio in order to have a chance to get to New York. I'm having trouble deciding what to include. What would you put in your style portfolio?

Oh my god, is she wearing pants?

Well, yes I am! Once every second month or so I actually wear pants. My only rule is that they have to be super comfortable. I decided to combine them with this knitted statement cardigan from iiS of Norway and birthday-gifted lace underwear from Georgia Campbell - given to me by my lover. Sophisticated, but a bit whimsical at the same time.

Vanity is my favourite sin.

What day is it? Oh, shit, it's my birthday. Again. It always comes around this time of the year. Weird. I will be celebrating it like I do every year: by not celebrating. Luckily I'm stranded on a dessert island in northern Norway where no one can find me.

Do I have any birthday wishes? Yes, actually, I do: I wish for your vote right here! It would be the bestest most awesome birthday present ever! Instead of congratulating me, giving me a gift or baking a cake - help me get to New York Fashion Week as a Style Correspondent for Nokia and ELLE! Deal? Happy birthday to me!

This is one of my favorite pictures (of me) in a while. It's not at all how I see myself or hope the world perceive me; but that's what I like the most about it. It probably sounds totally narcissistic, but that's OK. I like it that much. Captured by Ida Sletten. Quote by Al Pacino.

Sweetness in the belly

I admit, this isn't the most exciting outfit I've posted - but hey, it can't be perfect every time. I do think it's cute, though; and sometimes cute is good enough.

Poetry is the impish attempt to paint the color of the wind.

Flower-power. Obviously. I found some beauties that matched my dress, and of course I had to make this pretty little head-thingy. I didn't do a good job, though - it fell of my head more times than I can count. In the end, it was better to just wear it as a necklace. I remember making these braids when I was a little girl; the only difference is that this is more like a crown. I decided to put all of the flowers in the front, which kind of gave it a cool effect.

Please, don't forget to vote for me in the Nokia and ELLE Style Correspondent contest!

Vibrant

Here's the result for the beauty-shoot I did with Ida Sletten and Aina Nerdalen. It was my first one ever, well - except for the one I did myself for Circus Magazine! Strong, vibrant colors - I especially like the orange colors! Unexpected and really cool! What do you think?

So close, I can almost touch it..

Guess what? I made it to round 3 of Nokia and ELLE's search for the next Style Correspondent! How awesome is that!? Thank you so much for voting for me!

The next assignment is to make a style portfolio. What is a style portfolio? I don't know, but I've already started on it. I have no idea what I'm going to put in it though, but I want it to show who I am and what I can do. There are so many questions that need answers: and as I said earlier - convincing people to vote for me is not something I'm good at. This will be a challenge, for sure!

Until now, votes didn't really count that much, as the jury had a lot of power - but now the heat is turned up, and votes count really, really, really much. I need your help to get to New York! Currently I'm soooo far behind, as I only got 346 votes. That's nothing compared to those leading the way with over 1.000 votes. Would you help me closer to my dream? All it takes is just one click right here! It seriously only takes two second, and could change my life forever!

What makes you unique? Why do you deserve our vote? Why should you go to New York? What's special about you? What do you have to say? What's your passion? Where would you go? What would you see? What would you bring with you? What is fashion? How will you share fashion week with your community? How much do you really want to be there?

Here's a belated sum-up of what I wore throughout June! Hope you like it!

I don't pretend to be an ordinary housewife

This is a big favorite of mine, if not the favorite, out of all my outfits. I love the bizarre combination of three completely different styles: retro pin-up meets modern impulses with kind of a native American vibe. Of course, my "new" twist on the bun is quite cool too - if I may say so myself. There's something very appealing about incompatible mixes like this; it just shows that different styles actually can look quite excellent together if you just try it. I never could stick to just one style, one color or one mood - always changing! My very best tip to everyone out there is: experiment with your style and don't forget to have fun with it! Rome wasn't built in a day, you know!
