I'm wearing true Norwegian design in the form of iiS of Norway. Don't you just love it? The native inspired print is just adorable and it's actually really warm! I was frozen to the core when I got up today, but this little number did the trick. Well, this and the socks my grandma knitted for me. I must state the obvious today and tell you that I take it very personally when mother nature decides to cover Oslo with more snow; just like that. I almost didn't get out of bed today. True story! The last weeks we have been blessed with sunshine and springy temperatures, but yesterday winter returned. No wonder we Norwegians are so obsessed with the weather - we have to be! One day it's sunshine with birds singing and a generously warm south-western breeze - the next day it's stormy weathers with half a meter snow falling from the frozen sky. Make up your mind already! Is this perhaps an April's Fool prank from mother nature herself? In that case: it's not funny. At all.
Wearing iiS of Norway knitted sweater with print, vintage belt, the knitted socks my grandmother made me for Christmas, Nelly.com shoes and sitting on my vintage DIY shearling jacket.
I adore your blog - it is so pretty. I'm following!

I was going to say before I scrolled down that this is exactly what I think of as traditional Norwegian style! It looks perfect on a snowy day. Boston got more snow last night, too. I'm so tired of it! Sound like Norway and Boston have very similar spring weather.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are stunning! I know what you mean about the snow though - enough already. (I too live in a place with a long winter and unpredictable spring!)
ReplyDeleteBut the snow IS pretty and you are gorgeous!
I love your socks!
