Don't forget the past, learn from it. Happy New Year!

Food babies and gingerbread cookies; I'll see you next year! Tonight it's all about Edward Scissorhands and fireworks; my two must-haves for transitioning into a new year! Don't ask me how that movie came to be a tradition, it just happened.

My tip for 2014? Don't make any silly New Years resolutions; just live a little more and stress a little less! Running around won't make you days any longer and neither will stressing out about it. Inhale. Exhale.

Happy New year, lovlies!

Yes, there are some kick ass, and very chic, moose on my scarf! It doesn't get any more Norwegian than that!

I'm hereby plugging out and spending some much needed quality time with my family and friends. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah or a very merry Chrismukkah to all of you! I wish you all the very best!

Hugs and kisses from winter wonderland!

Now, put that phone away and drink a cup of tea. It will do you good; I promise!

One of the very best things about having a girlfriend, or a boyfriend for that matter, is having that second closet as a back-up. Whenever I feel like torching my own clothes, which is quite often, I know I'll always be able to find something to wear in the next room. Today I'm recycling this comfy turtleneck sweater, which I wore in my previous post. It doesn't exactly hurt that it's 100% wool, since it's December and all that. Ida is of course very welcome to borrow stuff from me as well - and the proof is on her blog.

On a completely different note: If you haven't heard, I'm a semi-finalist in the Vixen Blog Awards. I've been nominated in two whole categories! If you feel like voting for me, I'd really appreciate it - of not; check out the other nominees! Links are up in the right side-bar. The competition is hard and I think just being nominated is an incredible honor. So thank you so much, you guys! I know you must have had something to do with it!

PS. You can vote once every twelve hours until December 31st!

Nothing burns like the cold

December came around so quickly. I wonder how it is; that some months last forever - while others barely begin. And I wonder how come some are white and some are gray; and some are warm and some are cold. Maybe that is why they call it winter wonder land.
