No butterflies, no bees, no fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds.

Some people fake a tan; me - I fake summer. I closed my eyes really hard and ignored the white stuff in my back yard. I swear I could smell the sweetness of freshly cut grass and hear birds singing lightly, far-far away. But, I opened my eyes and realized I got splinters in my ass from this lazy stack of wood, a pink nose and goosebumps all over my body. Oh, well.. No pain, no gain. At least I had June, for five seconds, in my mind.

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

It's dark and it's beautiful it's hairy. It's me. They can say so much about photography: how it's like a thousand words or an unwritten poem - but they often neglect to mention the artist behind it all. Without them, there would be no photography. There would be no art. It's not the camera that creates, it's the person holding it. Pushing the right buttons, at the right time. Just like a keyboard. A keyboard cannot write by itself. A keyboard is nothing but a tool. The person pushing down the letters; that's someone. One by one, a to z. At the right time Let's never forget that.

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

Today I took my pictures inside, well; because it's winter. I'm sure you understand. This is what I wore to the Vixen Blog Awards. This year, I semi-confidently strutted up to the press wall to get photographed. It landed me a couple of cool snaps to share with you guys. Check my Facebook page to see them!

Feeling very fairytale like in this little ensamble. Snow white, anyone? Well, if Snow White wore vintage leather skirts, that is. I bet she did. Just not in the stories we all know.

Somehow I got my hopes up a couple of weeks ago and I really, really thought it would stop snowing. I couldn't have been more wrong, even if I tried. I don't think we've had this much snow all winter. Can anyone trade places with me, please? I'd really appreciate it; thanks!

Yes, of course I was cold. I only left out the jacket for the pictures.

Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living.

Snowfall. It's like heavy, wet cotton. Cold. Clinging to the top of yesteryears flowers, what's left after months trying to survive. It's a constant battle. The frozen water weighing them down. Breaking them. In the end, they all snap and fall to the ground. Defeated. Broken.

Weird thing is; they get up the next year, like nothing ever happened. The flowers, that is.

Sweater - My lovers // Crystal necklace & bar ring - BLK&NOIR (gifted) // Shirt - Romwe // Shoes - Marked in Spain

I stole my lovers old sweater today. It doesn't really need much to look great, but I added these cute pieces from BLK & NOIR. I recommend checking out their selection of accessories, which is quite inexpensive. I'm currently addicted to all things crystal, so this necklace was kind of perfect for me. And the ring only cost $17; who doesn't like that?

Since I haven't been blogging regularly for a while, I'm kind of wondering if you're still out there? I miss your lovely comments. They truly make my day. I just want you to know that.
