There's just something about black. You can feel both hidden and empowered by it; I guess it depends on your mood. In a way, this my kind of off duty look. Some days, like today, I just want to hide away in a monochrome ensemble. Blend into myself, my mood, my own little world; even thought the sun is shining and everyone else is wearing floral dresses and flip-flops. I never liked flip-flops and all my summer dresses feel so overwhelmingly adolescent at the moment, I can't stand the thought of wearing them. So like Amy Winehouse once said: it's back to black.

I love all black outfits, and you in all black is just.. wayyy too perfect.

Aaaaw! <3 you know that means the world to me, coming from you! <3
DeleteI don't know why, but for some reason these photos of you in all black made me think of some of old movie and television Westerns. You always look good whether it's in colours, florals, white or in monochrome black. I also love Amy Winehouse's Back to Black (YouTube). Your off-duty look is fab..
ReplyDeleteOh, cool!
DeleteYou always leave the sweetest comments. Thank you for that!
You look great in all black! Black is my safe zone too, it goes with everything AND can make you look skinnier! haha
ReplyDeleteI do have those days too that I look in my closet and don't want to wear this professional outfit to work and just would rather wear comfy shorts and a t-shirt. If only! :)
Haha, totally! I agree with all your points! :D
DeleteI wonder how people survived before? With their extravagant dresses and corsets! It must have been hell!

You look really good in B&W. The contrast between your skin and hair is perfect for it! Is your hair naturally that dark? Mine is a dark brown, and I have to constantly redye my hair black to keep that luster.
