Tina Rekdal, a very talented Norwegian photographer, took these pictures of me last week. She asked me to join her in her studio for a little session, and I of course jumped at the opportunity. I'm trying to climb out of my shell, not being so scared of the world - and people like Tina make it a lot easier.
She edited these in a way she hadn't tried before, so I'm very honored to have inspired here to try something new. I think they turned out great! Kind of grunge-y and religiously rebellious, in a way: if that's a thing.
What do you guys think?

First photo is my favorite. It looks like you're ripped straight out of a graphic novel. :DReplyDelete
You are so lovely, Barbro. <3
I really like that one too! Something about the volume of my hair I guess ^^,Delete

Oh, thank you do much! I am trying to step outside my comfort zone, but I'm finding it rather difficult at times!Delete

Thanks a lot, Heidi! It was so much fun - we even used a wind machine. It was both cold and awesome! ;)Delete
Ah so pretty. You look so serene and yet rebellious at the same time- it's hard to describe.ReplyDelete
Aah, thank you! I think you described it quite well, actually! Silently rebelling - that's me! ;)Delete

I like how she experimented on these photographs - a good change from simplicity, I think!Delete
Thanks a lot, Oroma Roxella!
'Religiously rebellious' does kind of make sense to me. Rebellious because you're doing your own thing, and religiously because you put your heart into it. I love the way talk about style and clothes and photographs; it gives it so much more meaning and depth than on other blogs.ReplyDelete
Oh, wow, I really appreciate that! I don't want to be a fake or superficial, because that's not who I am. I do love fashion, but there's more to life than the newest and most fancy stuff. I think everyone thinks that too, at least deep down; but sometimes it's easier to write about fashion - than to actually try and put your heart out there.Delete
Thank you for your wonderful comment!
There's this peace in your face B, that goes so well with the wildness of the hair and the uncontroled power that B/W gives you.ReplyDelete
Also the editing takes everything to a great level.
The 2nd and the 4th are my personal favourites.
Congratulations on try somethi8ng new, you and Tina.
