It's like I am inside this ethereal sphere wherein exists no logic, no reasoning, no typicality, no explanations, no realism, no comparisons, nothing ordinary, and no normalcy.

Trousers - ACNE (thrifted) // Over sized blouse - Monki // Rings - Tom Wood // Earrings - Susanne Friis Bjørner // Bracelets - We The Hatters / Nina K // Shoes - Choies

Some days, like today, I just like swimming in fabric. Flowy, airy, delicious fabric. It tickles my skin and makes me all fuzzy. It's summer. Holy summer!

This is a repeat and re-worn outfit, and my ultimate go-to style for this season. I found these trousers when Marianne aka Styledevil was clearing out her closet earlier this month and I just couldn't leave without them. I'm so glad I didn't. It would have been a huge mistake.

What are your guilty pleasures this summer? Mine includes this outfit, Frozen Yogurt and Cava; amongst other things.

Get mad, then get over it.

Dress - Thrifted // Bracelet - Camilla Pihl (which I lost..) // Rings - Tom Wood // Shoes - Via Ebay

I lost this beautiful bracelet the other day. It must have slipped of my wrist when I wasn't paying attention. It was such a beautiful piece, I'm really going to miss is. I never loose things. Or, I never used to loose things. Being the control freak that I am, I'm really mad at myself right now. I can't go back and change it, so I'm just stuck with self loathing at the moment. At least when I'm mad at someone else, I can just ignore them and walk away. It's kind of hard when I'm the one to blame. I turned the apartment upside-down looking for it, without any luck. I can't very well put out an "missing bracelet report"; can I?

Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.

So, it turns out that I'm in the army now. No, I'm not actually going into the red zone, at least not in the traditional sense. It's probably more of a cupcake zone, when I think about it.

In February, Bianco started their search for officers for their fashion army. 2.800 fashion enthusiasts were recruited, some went to the try outs and now it's come down to only sixty officers from all over Scandinavia. I never thought I would actually make it and I honestly just joined because it sounded like fun. Turns out it's the best thing I could have done!

"As a Fashion Army Officer you will get involved in designing shoes, choosing patterns and creating details. You will be invited to our Fashion Army Boot Camp – a weekend with fashion inspiration - and we will share the latest trend information, blog material, and all the stuff from the fashion industry with you. You will have a strong voice on what the Bianco collection will contain in the future."

So I'm from now on quite connected to Bianco, which means I will be working with them on different tasks and projects from here on out. The first task for the Officers (me) is to design a sandal for next summer (SS14). How exciting is that? It is of course not set in stone, as all 60 of us have to send in a sketch for review and consideration; but I will get to design one! Afterwards, Bianco will pick out the best designs and ask all of you which one they're should put into production. I'll of course let you know if I make it that far, so that I can beg all of you to vote for my designs.

It sounds pretty great to me and it's such a unique opportunity! If you're interested, you can read more about it here - or visit some of my fellow Officers like Marie Ullevoldsæter and Vilde Bjørnødegård.

So, lesson of the day is:
If you're thinking about joining a contest or anything like that right now - just do it. You never know what's going to happen!

A light wind swept over the corn, and all nature laughed in the sunshine.

Blouse - Shoppalu // Skirt - iiS of Norway // Earrings - BLK+Noir // Necklace - Handmade in Turkey // Rings - Tom Wood // Bracelets - We The Hatters / Nina K / Camilla Pihl // Shoes - Zara

Shoppalu sent me this beautiful vintage blouse a little while ago, and I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear it. Today was that day; with its light blue skies and burning beams. I try not to expose my skin to too much direct sunlight, so wearing blouses like these is kind of mandatory. I spent my adolescent years soaking in the sun, but now I'm much more cautious. I really don't want to look like a raisin before I turn 60.

The world was collapsing, and the only thing that really mattered to me was that she was alive.

Here is the result of the vintage shoot I did with My Cup of Tea Vintage a couple of weeks ago; I really hope you guys like it as much as I do! I had so much fun with these colorful outfits, not to mention Erica, Eirin and Karoline - we worked so well together! I really can't wait for Eirin to open her online store! I'll let you know when she does, 'cause I'll be shopping there for sure!

A belated outfit post from the end of last week. It must have been Thursday, because Thursday is the new Saturday in Oslo. The day when everything happens at once; when events are thrown on top of each other and are forced to fight one another for attention. I almost always end up going to one by Mildh Press. They're the sweetest. This time it was the preview of Gina Tricot AW13. I can't wait for the stuff to hit the stores. Check out my Facebook to see two of my favorite pieces for this fall!
