If the average human life span was only forty years - how would you live your life differently?

Shorts - Whyred // Jacket - Gina Tricot // T-shirt - Zalando (gift) // Necklace - random bijoux // Earrings - Line & Jo // Shoes - GoJane

I would eat more candy. Wear less make-up. Spend more time outside. Wear shorts all year. Oh, no; wait - I do that now. Spend less money on clothes and more money traveling. Play in the snow. Learn Spanish. Take more pictures. Spend less time on the Internet. Forget the past. Welcome the future. And just cross of everything on my bucket list.

How about you?

I've got more important things to think about. I've got a yogurt to finish, the expiry date is tomorrow!

Sweater - Gina Tricot // Leather pants - Vintage // Shades - Toms (gift) // Necklace - Pieces // Shoes - DinSko

Sorry for the lack of make-up in my photos today, I just didn't feel like getting all dolled up. A perfect opportunity to hide behind these gorgeous Kitty shades from Toms, don't you think? The glasses are designed for the incredible project called One for One. If you haven't heard about it, please take a few minutes and read up on it - or just keep reading this section of my post! No, this isn't a sponsored post, I just wanted to tell you about it. It's pretty genius, actually - and very simple. If you buy Toms eye wear, you're helping restore the sight of people living in Cambodia, Guatemala, Ethiopia and a lot of other countries - even the US. This means prescription glasses, sight-saving surgery and medical treatment for people who can't afford it themselves. In the long run, this project can help restore independence, economic potential and educational opportunity. You can of course read more about it here, if you want.

Now, about my little outfit.. I've been looking for some really chunky leather pants for a while, and last week I found these at UFF, a local second hand store. My mother-in-law kindly bought them for me, so thank you so much for that! I wanted them to have that slouch effect, almost that sweatpants kind-of-look. I think these are perfect for that. They are sooo next season.

Giveaway | 21Diamonds

Today, I have the honor of hosting a giveaway on behalf of 21Diamonds! If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting them before, I recommend taking a tour of their very elegant website. They're quite international, has previously been featured in both Vogue and ELLE - and have a large selection of beautiful jewelry, watches and everything in between. They host brands like Pilgrim, Paul & Joe, Esprit and Fashionology. They're also a member of RJC; which means they're environmental friendly and involved in human rights. Awesome, right?

The prize is a quite spectacular, if I may say so myself! If you win, you can choose your favorite piece from Fashionology! You've probably heard of them, especially if you've been here before - as I've worn their infamous bird skull necklace more than once. Sounds pretty good, yes?

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Open internationally. The giveaway ends Thursday 4th of April. We will choose one winner and contact him or her via e-mail.

I wear high heels, own a Chihuahua, read ELLE and eat cupcakes - but I'm not at all who you think I am.

I can do simple things too; much thanks to Tina Rekdal. After all these shoots focusing on my hair, my hair and nothing but my hair - this was actually a very welcomed break. Tina stripped it down to the bare necessities and shot these black and whites downtown a little while ago. I like how quiet they are; don't you?

On a completely different note:

I was wondering, if you could perhaps answer a question or two for me? It's nothing complicated; I'd just really like to hear from you guys - since your already here, I mean

Anything you got; questions, comments, criticism, compliments - or perhaps just tell me what book you're reading! Who are you? Why are you here? Where are you from? What do you like or dislike about my blog? Or what would you like to see more or less of? I'd really like to get to know you! You do know a thing or two about me, but I must admit - I don't know a lot about you. Can we please change that?

You should listen to your heart and not the voices in your head.

If you told me a few years ago, that I would be a denim type of girl, I would have laughed in your face: but these past few seasons, dungaree and its infamous siblings has really grown on me. I don't know if it's a serious case of trend-fever or just the perks of growing older, but I sure can get used to this new fabric. Well, as long as it's not that deep blue color - I just can't deal with that. This hairstyle, however, is just something that happened in the spur of the moment. An accident, of sorts. I was trying to get it all up in an old fashioned pony-tail, just because I was running out of time - and mid-way my fingers needed a little break from the pulling and tearing. Then this happened. And I love it. My new go to hair-style for sure. Half a pony tail.

A signet ring is a classic menswear piece, favored by kings of ancient times who used the embossed emblems on the rings to seal official documents.

This is too good news not to share on my blog, isn't it? It's the Tom Wood lookbook, which I awkwardly modeled for a few weeks ago. The result is fantastic and just beyond my wildest imagination. I couldn't be happier. So delicate and tasteful, and at the same time I really feel like I managed to express the emotions the photographer and the Tom Wood team was looking for. Even in my tighty whities!

You can of course see the full-size images here - on Tom Woods Facebook page. Or just visit their website, which I have completely fallen in love with. This isn't a product review of any kind; just true love for this new Norwegian jewelery designer - which in my opinion is bound to be a huge success.

You're always the mysterious one with dark eyes and careless hair. You were fashionably sensitive, but too cool to care.

Sunday. Funday. Lazyday. Hazyday. How awesome are my new shoes? I'm seriously considering wearing them to bed at night, but I'm afraid I might kick my lover, my dog or my cat if I do. That could cause some serious damage. Yes, we all sleep in the same bed. It's not like our little 2,5 kilo Chihuahua takes a lot of room - and that silly cat just does what she wants.I actually take up most space, when I'm spamming my poor Instagram the nights I can't sleep.

I have updated my general layout, header and page this past week. I added a knit-section to my pages where I collected all post relevant to my knit shorts. I even made a second attempt at a little style guide on how to style the knit shorts. Let me know if something is missing or unclear, and I'll do my best to fix it!

If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.

If you don't try new things, how will you know you like them or not? Tina Rekdal, a very talented Norwegian photographer, took these pictures of me last week. She asked me to join her in her studio for a little session, and I of course jumped at the opportunity. I'm trying to climb out of my shell, not being so scared of the world - and people like Tina make it a lot easier.

She edited these in a way she hadn't tried before, so I'm very honored to have inspired here to try something new. I think they turned out great! Kind of grunge-y and religiously rebellious, in a way: if that's a thing.

What do you guys think?
Quote by Jim Rohn

We have not wings we cannot soar; but, we have feet to scale and climb, by slow degrees, by more and more, the cloudy summits of our time

You know when you wake up in the morning, or the middle of the night: caught between worlds - when you're still kind of stuck in your nightmares? When you can't exactly differentiate what is real and what is not, and for a second or two, you feel boundless: infinite? I often feel like that and I think Sofie photographed that feeling very well right here. I think that's why it is one of my favorite photos from that shoot we did a little while ago.
