Life belongs to the living, and he who lives must be prepared for changes.

Jacket and blouse - Gina Tricot // Skirt - Redesigned by me // Rings - Tom Wood // Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell

It's kind of amazing how the temperature can go from 18 to 0 degrees Celsius in a matter of minutes. What's even more amazing is how we as Scandinavians have to prepare for all kinds of weather before leaving home. I usually bring extra clothes, which is something I've been doing all my life - but it's the most annoying of necessities! It's just one of those things that make it difficult to dress how I want, when I want. And I personally have to plan two-in-one outfits just to be able to go outside during the fall, winter and early spring months. That's a lot of planning. What I would do with this particular outfit, is bring thick stockings and a basic black maxi skirt. It won't make my bag explode and isn't super heavy, and will make waiting for the bus a much better experience. Not to mention the walk home. Is anyone else having the same problem, or is it just me?

  2. Such a pretty skirt! :)
No you are not alone- I grew up in a colder environment and remember having to wear thermal underthings to keep warm. I also remember having to layer quite frequently - when I went to school and went from bone chilling cold to the warm inside. :)

    1. Thank you so much, sweetie!

Ah, I'm so glad to read that! I wear thermal wool underwearthings as well - I have to! Wool is the best for me, but it's such a pain in the ass having to wear it all winter! The extreme change from inside to outside to inside to outside again is such a annoying thing as well. It's almost impossible to go shopping, even if it's just for groceries :p
