Wait, what? Are you wearing real fur!?

Skirt - Vintage // Jacket - Gift from Grandma // Sweater and scarf - Gina Tricot // Shoes - DinSko

Fooled you, didn't I? Sporting this fabulous black and tan Chihuahua from circa 2009, which really compliments my vintage wool skirt and hand-me-down coat from my very fashionable Grandma. I've layered myself into a big pile of fabric, but that's simply to withstand the freezing temperatures of a tragic Oslonioan spring. Rumor has it; it's going to start snowing again this week - so I'll be under the covers in my bedroom if you need me.

  1. Heh. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: Gaia is one fickle dame. ;) We're also threatened with snow. Lame sauce, I tell ya.

I gotta say, I love that skirt. I hope it's not real fur? I'm betting it isn't. :D The texture and pattern is so rad. Love the boots, too! <3

    1. Haha, she sure is! Such a moody chick, that one!

No, no, of course it isn't real fur! It's just a mohair type yarn :) Wool all the way! I just had to get it when I found it. It's very different!

Thank you so much for commenting <3

  4. I'm sorry to read that Spring has yet to make its way to you in Oslo, Norway. I'm not sure why but unfortunately I'm not able to view your outfit photos on this post and only see question marks in small blue boxes. I do have an old computer and browser. I would have loved to see your vintage wool skirt and the way you layered yourself "into a big pile of fabric". I hope it doesn't keep snowing there. Do you use cross-country skis? Warm wishes from Long Island, New York, U.S.A..

    1. I used to go skiing when I was younger, but now my skis are mostly just collecting dust in storage. Wish I would spend more time out there, though - it's really liberating!

  5. Wouldn't you know it - your photos became visible when I published that last comment. I love the layered look with your big beautiful Gina Tricot scarf (that's quite a print on it) cute Chihuahua, your coat and long beautiful hair. I hope warmer temperatures reach you soon.

    1. I'm glad it worked out! Don't know what was going on. Sometimes it just takes a little while to load, I guess. I try to resize my pictures so that it doesn't take that much time for my whole site to load. I personally hate waiting for pages to load ;)

Thank you so much for you incredible sweet words! I think the print of my scarf is so much fun, and unexpected! You are so attentive!

Hope you get spring soon too!

  7. The weather here in the UK isn't great either... I love the snow but I'm craving sunshine! Bring on the beach, ice cream and shorts! Although, I have to say, you own winter! Such a great outfit!
