You're always the mysterious one with dark eyes and careless hair. You were fashionably sensitive, but too cool to care.

Leather dress - vintage // Faux fur - Gift from Grandma // Shoes - United Nude x Iris van Herpen via WhyNot (gifted)

Sunday. Funday. Lazyday. Hazyday. How awesome are my new shoes? I'm seriously considering wearing them to bed at night, but I'm afraid I might kick my lover, my dog or my cat if I do. That could cause some serious damage. Yes, we all sleep in the same bed. It's not like our little 2,5 kilo Chihuahua takes a lot of room - and that silly cat just does what she wants.I actually take up most space, when I'm spamming my poor Instagram the nights I can't sleep.

I have updated my general layout, header and page this past week. I added a knit-section to my pages where I collected all post relevant to my knit shorts. I even made a second attempt at a little style guide on how to style the knit shorts. Let me know if something is missing or unclear, and I'll do my best to fix it!

    1. They are out of this world! Impossible to walk with during the winter though! So when spring comes - I won't be wearing anyone else, that's for sure!

      Thanks for commenting, Sonja! <3

  2. Really, really beautiful shoes and I am loving that dress. I am still wowed by your resistance to cold. If I were in your position, I'd be blue in that picture. But of course, you look lovely. :)

    1. Thank you, Lily!

I grew up in winter wonderland, and I still can't get used to the cold - so I can completely understand you wondering! I usually put extra coats on for my adventures, and walking shoes - of course. And I wear layers underneath my clothes, or else I would just fall over from the cold!

    1. Thank you, Heidi, sweets! I'm not completely satisfied with the layout, but it will have to do for now. I'm not a html wizz ;)

  5. Those are some great shoes, in every sense of the word.
I love them, and of course they look so great with this outfit.
Its a quite hard look, the leather, and the fur and the shoes, but they work so good together.

And congrats on then new layout, it looks really good.

    1. Yes, aren't they? Perfection in the form on shoes <3

I do like hard looks, don't I? The bigger the contrast, the better I feel ;)

      I hope you're well, sweetie!

  6. "You stood on my doorway with nothing to say beside some comment on the weather." I must say, this poem - and the song attached to it - is a daguerrotype of a messy time in my life up to a scratch. I was just about sent back in time right now! Lovely shoes, very unusual.

    1. I know exactly what you mean, it was the same for me. I sometimes (often) use lyrics to songs that have meant a lot to me, just because it makes me remember. Remember that I've gotten through rough patches in my life before and that maybe I can handle what comes next too.

  7. I love everything here. A great example of how to wear brown an not be boring!
I'd also want to live in these shoes, they're perfect!

    1. I agree! Brown is a totally misunderstood color ;)

  8. I love the look of your beautiful long hair, your thigh-highs and your poses. I'm a fairly strict vegetarian so I generally don't comment much on leather but I appreciate that you wore faux fur instead of real. I love that you have shared so much with us about your life and your thoughts. I smiled thinking of you, your lover, your silly cat and your 2.5 kilo Chihuahua cuddling for warmth but possibly each needing a little more space and you spamming your instagram :)

    1. I never wear real fur. Never ever. But I guess I have a bit of a double standard when it comes to leather. I mostly wear faux leather, unless it's vintage :)
