If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I'm grieving the loss of summer. My veil may be dark, but it is still beautiful. How do you deal with fall? Is it a joy, or is it not? My thought go to the coming months of darkness and cold, the stinging feeling beneath my feet as they touch the floor in the morning. Almost like a thousand needles. Am I the only one? The only drama-queen?

  1. I feel some weak sort of despair when I see the leaves falling, and smell the hints of autumn as I walk outside. I'm in no way looking forward to the first snow, or when it'll be so cold outside that your nose freeze when you try to breathe through it. In fact; here we've already started to try to come up with activities and things we can do to survive these dark, cold months. Maybe you have some good suggestions? :)

    1. Oh, yeah, I know EXACTLY what you mean! My nose turns completely red just looking out the window! I'll just crawl into bed and stay there for six months. Best idea ever. Like, it's going to be legen.. wait for it!

      Ok, no.

So, yeah, I don't have any ideas or suggestions other than go to bed and stay there forever. Or just wear a lot of wool and drink coffee all the time.

  3. love the lace, high-low dress! <3

i welcome Fall. it's a respite from the unrelenting heat of summer. i enjoy the changing colors of the leaves and watching them inevitably fall this way and that. it is Winter that i sometimes despise. hehe. she and i have a love-hate relationship. ;)

    1. Thanks a lot, Anna!

The changing color of the leaves sure are pretty and all that, I guess it's all the other stuff I don't like. It gets so cold here in Norway, and I just hate being cold. Like, more than anything else in the whole wide world. Did I mention that I don't like freezing?

      Sorry for rambling!

    1. Thank you so much, sweets! I love the collar too; such a sweet little detail!

I always wanted to love fall, and I tried it last time around - but I just fall back to my old habits. (No pun intended)

  5. you're absolutely not the only one. I hate fall (when it gets cold, like right now) and winter. I'm scared shitless of freezing my ass off for half a year. even the thought of going away to some exotic place in january is of little comfort. it's raining, I'm cold and it's gray (and almost dark) outside. how does one not get depressed?
