Oh February, you went by so quickly. But then again; I have actually been in San Francisco and there has been Fashion Weeks all over the world. No wonder time flew by! Not that I mind, I welcome spring back in November. Even October. I wish I had the energy to show you guys more of my wearings, because I do actually wear clothes on a regular basis. Honestly. I'm not kidding.

H&M is choosing Oslos style icon : would you vote for me here?

It's Sunday, alright..

I bought this over-sized knit cardigan for next to nothing earlier this week at Gina Tricot, and when I say next to nothing I mean $8. I guess that's the story of my wardrobe. I rarely splurge, but when I do it's usually on shoes. I would probably never spend as much on a dress as I did on my most recent shoes, I just don't think it's worth it. Shoes usually last longer, and in most cases what you pay equals its quality. That's not always the case when it comes to clothes. I usually shop on final sales or go thrifting; and it really works for me. I actually think H&M clothes are expensive, so I don't buy anything from them. My shopping-spree this Friday included two over-sized shirts, a floral dress, a knit skirt and a little black dress - all for $43. That's $8 a piece. My magic number, it seems.

How much do you spend on clothes? What is luxury, normal, budget and cheap?

Oh my golly gosh!

This is one of the many vintage mid-calf skirts I have laying in the back of my closet. I got them all from my grandmothers, but I never seemed to be able wear them. Until now. This is one of the reasons I don't like throwing things away; I always seem to actually use them at some point. Gray is indeed one of my favorite colors, easy to layer with and just one of the colors I feel most comfortable in. This length is really hard to pull of though, but I think I did a pretty decent job.

I'm wearing a vintage mid-calf skirt and belt, Cubus white basic tee, Kmart knit sweater and tights, GoJane booties.

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Todays inspiration come straight from the runway. I'm channeling the geek-chic vibe I got from Iis of Norway. I guess it's quite unusual for me, as I'm actually wearing pants; but I wanted to try something new. Besides, my leathery pants haven't been getting the attention they deserve, so I pulled them out for the occasion.

I'm wearing Comme des Garçons for H&M shirt, BikBok cropped sweater, Forever21 faux-leather pants, random bowtie and my always lovely GoJane booties. Quote from a t-shirt.

OFW AW2011 | My favorites

Last seasons celebrity "designers" really hurt the credibility of Norwegian designers and Oslo Fashion Week in general. I was absolutely furious at the time, but the standard has been so much better this season. I'm actually really impressed! Kudos for responding to our critic and raising the standard. Quality over quantity. Here's a recap of my favorites.

Blue thou art, intensely blue; Flower, whence came thy dazzling hue?

Tried this inside thing again, mostly because it's freezing outside. Wearing an over-sized floral vest from Kmarts "Love Your Style, Love Your Size" collection. I absolutely love it! Oslo Fashion Week is over for now, or at least for me; but I'll probably be posting some more favorites this weekend.
