Kites rise highest against the wind - not with it.

Phew, it's windy today! Did you watch my little video? This is my DIY lace maxi-skirt, which my lover and I made back in January. I decided to keep it super-long because I wear a lot of platforms, which is kind of funny when I think about it - but I discovered that it actually doubles as a dress as well, so it's a "two for one" DIY! The gorgeous top is from iiS of Norway and I think it's such a powerful statement; just look at those shoulders! I decided to pair the two together because of the obvious: Norwegian design versus my DIY. All kinds of rad!

  4. I feel like I'm always redundant with my comments to you, Barbro. "Pretty", "lovely", "beautiful", "gorgeous". But you are all those things, and especially so is your style. I love your DIY and that top is marvelous. I just recently tried wearing a maxi skirt as a dress, I couldn't believe it worked. I've started to get so much more creative and adventurous with fashion since I began reading blogs!
