Thrifted tutu, v.2

As I said yesterday, I wanted to try another version of my tutu-thingy today. This has a more romantic vibe to it, I think.Tomorrow I'm going to a Christmas party, and I'm really torn when it comes to a certain shoe-situation. I want to wear my purple GoJanes, but I'm afraid it will look overdone with my new dress. I'm going to discuss it a bit more with myself, then maybe ask for some advice from you guys.

I'm wearing the thrifted tutu-thingy, Cubus Paris tee, belt from another dress and thigh-high stockings, H&M hat and pearly necklace which was a gift from my grandmother.

  2. Tutu ♥ The most perfect clothing item in the world, I am sure of it! Though I have to admit that my favourite picture in this post is the headshot with that hat. Stunning!

And if you don't mind me asking: how do you take your pictures, by the way? Do you simply use the timer on your camera, or do you have one of those remote control-thingys? And which Canon EOS do you have exactly? I'll be shopping for a new camera after Christmat, and lately I've been considering an EOS 500 D :)

  16. I think you should maybe wear your tutu skirt out again to the party paired with another top,so it makes 3 ways of wearing it!

Oh my, thank you so much for such kind words! I use the timer, I don't have a remote control :) The camera I have is a 450D, and I'm really happy with it. I hear the 500D is good too :) My camera got a six out of six points in two different tests here in Norway, and I think that is why I decided on this particular one :)

    Samantha Nandez:

  30. I love this! As an ex-dancer who still gets discounts on tutus, I've loved the idea of wearing tutu-like skirts in theory, but worried that they were too costumy. This looks so wearable, yet still interesting. Well done.
